Aspyr Announces Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword

Aspyr Media today announced it will be publishing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword for the Macintosh. This mission pack for Raven Shield was licensed fromUbiSoft and is being ported to the Mac by i5Works. Athena Sword is expected to ship in October.
Command the world's most elite, multinational force of counter-terrorist operatives in their latest mission. Inside Mac Games has posted another hands-on preview of Blizzard's upcoming World of Warcraft. Here's a clip from the preview:
at’s what’s most striking about this game; the entire world feels alive, not static. The cities hustle and bustle, the forests are full of ambient life and there are always people milling about. It is amazing how much detail the Blizzard artists put into simple things like an ocean of stars in a cool night sky. Atmosphere is a huge part of WoW. The human lands often feel full of hope and ambition, whereas the undead lands tend to feel completely bereft of such emotions. Knights of the Old Republic Trailer Posted

In line with last week's news that Aspyr Media's Star Wars role-playing game Knights of the Old Republic has gone gold and should be reaching stores in the coming weeks, Apple has posted a trailer on their games site. The movie show off the spectacular visuals and the strongly present Star Wars mood of the game. But the people expecting X-Wings, rebels and Stormtroopers are probably in for a surprise.

New Media for Pow Pow's Great Adventure

Outside the Box Software has released new screenshots and a gameplay trailer for their upcoming platformer Pow Pow's Great Adventure. The new media shows off the variety of gameplay and enemies that will be available in the title, which is set to be released late this month.
Here's more of a description from the game's website:
Pow Pow’s Great Adventure is a 3D platformer with classic 2D gameplay. Pow Pow is thrown into a strange world with his girlfriend Mai Mei. However, it turns out Mai Mei and Pow Pow are at the opposite ends of the world. They both must traverse through various environments and defeat many enemies to meet up with each other.Head over to Outside the Box now to check out the new screenshots and the movie, and stay tuned to IMG for word as the game is released.
