Apple has posted another article in their games section, this time looking at the upcoming Neverwinter Nights expansion packs, Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark. Both add-ons due out soon from MacSoft expand the AD&D experience of Neverwinter Nights with many new monsters, feats, spells and classes.
Here's a clip from the preview with more about the background of Undrentide:
Shadows of Undrentide takes you to a remote mountain village called Hilltop, where you and three other promising students train under Master Drogan, a dwarf mage. On the eve of your final tests, a group of kobolds attacks Drogan and poisons him. A mysterious woman named Ayala Windspear shows up in time to help your group defeat the kobolds and revive Drogan with her magic. If you're interested in checking out what is contained in these two expansions, head over to read through the rest of Apple's preview.

Custer Joins the Revolution

IMG's Brad Custer is back with another brand new desktop. This week's creation features Feral's recently gone gold game, Republic: The Revolution.
Here's what Custer had to say about this latest desktop:Republic: The Revolution went gold last month and, by the amount of email I've received, its highly anticipated. So, this week I finally have a slot available to honor your requests. :) I wanted to feature the Avatar in this desktop and going with a mainly red color scheme seemed the only way to go. I have another great piece of art for this game so definitely look for another one from it. The art provided by Feral Interactive helped to create this wallpaper. I simply entitled it, "Liberation", and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :)To check out the desktop, head over to Custer's Desktops.
