Apple Features Splinter Cell
7:16 AM | Johan Hansén | Comment on this story

Apple has posted a preview of Aspyr Media's upcoming third-person stealth game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on their games section. The game is a covert stealth-action game featuring a compelling original storyline and characters inspired by the world of Tom Clancy and endorsed by the famous author.

From the preview:

Unlike many action/adventure games, Splinter Call doesn’t require you to blast away your enemies to succeed at its nine expansive missions. In fact, you can make your way through many of them without firing a single shot. Instead, your ability to sneak around, avoiding guards and security cameras while judiciously hiding the unconscious bodies of those you can’t get past, will dictate whether or not Third Echelon pulls the plug on a particular mission.

Splinter Cell is currently in beta testing and is scheduled for release in July. You can already pre-order your copy from the IMG Store for $39.95.
