Anybody out there???

The only sims game i think is kinda wierd is the Urbz its way different the original.The First sims on PS2 was better but there was no fill all motives code so my sim would always fall asleep fast

The sims 2 ROCKS big time and all them loud mouths who dont have anything better to say well f**k them coz u guys rock and make the coolest sims games eva so dont giv up just coz of some silly sado's ur games are the BEST and thats cumin from the heart.

The people who have joined in and helped make the sims 2 deserve a great cheer and a massive cheer for will wright as he has a most brilliant imagination and should make more ex[ansion packs for the sims 2 like a vacation one or a hot date one or a magical one or even one where you get loads of careers that have never been on any other sims game like 'assistant magician to a potion maker to a magical creature hunter to a dark magician or a fashion store clerk to a hair stylist to a super model to a fashion critic to a famous fashion designer. (There hasnt been a fashion career yet,please make one, and make it good)

The sims 2 due date is for may but with the amount of problems which are occering I don't think it will be released untill a later date. So This is the update for THE SIMS 2 and hopefulley Ea will make an expansion pack just 4 mac so then this time PC users will have to wait.

I have a G3 updated with Jaguar and I got Sim City 4 last January and I couldn't install it.
Then I tried to install it on my dad's G4 Powerbook and it worked. Do you think the Sims 2 will be the same because we're thinking about getting the new G5 model in December. Also I want the Sims 2 for my birthday in January. Do you know if it will be out for Macs? 'Cause if it's not out by then I think I'm gonna have to kill myself.

i saw a demmo for the Sims 2 on my cousins computer and was so excited. i waited until sptember 17 and went to the mall with my friends only to find that there is no mac version! i was having a pretty trerrible day as it was and that didnt make it nebetter!!!

ok... i dont get this!!! i no sims 2 comes out later for macs then pc's n all but i just got a mac 3 weeks ago n i knew sims was coming out so i bought this cd called virtual pc for mac... this is supposed to instal windows xp on ur mac and let u install n play any pc game or open any files from windows... its kinda like a pc in ur mac but the thing is its $260 4 professional n 230 for home .... except.. IT DOESNT WORK! ive tried so many times to install sims 2 on this and i guess the file is just way 2 big .... so help please!!!! i dno.... maybe we should just wait til da actual mac version for sims 2 comes out...

That is quite a pool of beta testers out there for the pending Mac Version! ;-) I have the PC version and have had to reinstall bloody XP to get it to agree my GeForce 4 Titanium 4400 was... acceptable.

Do we get a body shop to play with, while we wait, like the PC users had???? it would only be fair! i mean come on!!!! we have to wait longer too!?!?! we deserve SOMETHING!!!!!!!

unfortunately the only big diff between the PC version and the mac versions are the long file names... Mac opperates on files with 31 characters or less, in the file name.

It is so not fair that sims 2 (for mac) isnt realesed at the same time it is for pc! But there is a reason. Its because macs buying more uppdates for sims so it wont take so long on macs as it does on pcs.So when it comes out we are actully getting the better deal! :)

I'm DYING to play this game so much that I think I'm just going to install virtual PC on my Mac. I hope it works. Then when the mac version comes out, I can just sell the pc version on ebay and buy the mac one.

I really can't wait. I've played around with the 'body builder' thing for Windows at a friend's place, but can't wait to get Sims2 loaded on my iBook. It should run ok? Most Macs sold in the last year only have 32mb video ram or a cruddy Nvidia FX with 64mb of ram so it should be designed to work ok on these?

Do you think TS2 will work on my G5 Mac?

Granted, more the better, however we are talking about the sequel to the #1 selling game of ALL-TIME, do you really think they're going to release this game requiring people to buy a new computer? Not a chance.

Yes, looks like the sequel is going to be a lot of fun, though I really have doubts it'll run well on me not so new PowerBook. Shouldn't be reason to fret though. By the time it comes out I should be already looking into getting me a desktop Mac.

The game does look gorgeous. And from what I've read on the PC gaming sites, it's going to require a hefty machine. My guess is a very high end G4 with a really good video card.

I passed all previous Sims-games, but this looks something to look forward to, even though I'm afraid my eMac 700 mhz may leave me out of the fun :(

I like the way MAXIS gave out this news, rather than waiting forever to hear word from a Mac publisher. It may ultimately be published by one of the Mac houses, but it really is great to hear it from the content creator. :)

Finally a Sim's game to look forward too makes it's way to the Mac!
