DONT BE FOOLED
Listen January 05 - 12:42 PM

DONT BE FOOLED! THE GRAPHICS IN X-PLANE ARE NO WHERE NEAR THE ONE IN THE SCREEN SHOT!!! LAMINAR RESEARCH DIGITALY RENDERED THAT PHOTO TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE X-PLANE HAS THE GRAPHICS LIKE THAT, I EVEN ASKED THEM MYSELF!! IF YOU HAVENT FIGURED OUT, THE GRAPHICS IN X-PLANE SUCK!!! IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT GRAPHICS THEN GET IT, BUT IM ABOUT TO SWITCH TO MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 2004!!!!! MUCH, MUCH BETTER GRAPHICS, PLUS THE AIRPORTS HAVE TERMINALS!!!!!

Not 757!
Luc January 05 - 12:38 PM

In the screen shot it is an American Airlines 777 not 757!!!!!! You should correct this...

Yup
ΔTim Morgan July 23 - 4:12 AM

Yeah, that's a screenshot. Most of the liveries for the commercial jets are taken direct from photos, so they include the specular and lighting effects captured by the camera at the time of the photo.

baw July 23 - 1:33 AM

Is that an actual screenshot or just a picture?

Needs better scenery

I'm disappointed that I can't fly over my house. That & I can't even tell where I'm at. Where are the terminals at the airports??? :(

X-Plane

X-Plane is fun even though I'm not that into flight sims. The feature list is insanely huge--beyond overkill for me--but I can still pick an aircraft and zoom around! (Once I understood the mouse yoke controls.)
