I've just checked the forums, apparently the project has gone into the sink.
But all is not lost yet, Ventrilo seems to be actually being posted to the Mac. Let's pray ;-) |

I doubt we will ever see this ported to Mac OS X. |

Well I'm psyched, it's been a long long wait. Long, hard wait. Don't dawdle now, I lose a lot of points in clan matches by typing, while my team mates are all talking to one another. |
| I hope it's good news, but.... |

With GameRanger/Scott Kevill's underhanded tactics toward 3rd-Party voice solutions, what good will this do for us, as Mac gamers?
I'm referring to those Mac users who, including myself, paid good money for Netfone, and used it quite successfully on GameRanger, suddenly had the rug pulled out from underneath us by Scott Kevill and GameRanger (for no good technical reason, I might add). I understand he needs to make money, but I'm not paying him $50 after seeing his behavior. I'm quite willing to pay a somewhat smaller fee, while retaining my investment in other products I've purchased. He's lost my trust. |
| Lol This is good news |

I love ts its great with games. In clan matches it helps heaps to be able to communicate with your team mates. But yeah its been a long time coming to the mac.... |

The article mentions that the TS crew got help from Apple in January. What you didn't mention was the year, 2002, NOT 2003. So yes, they have been sitting on their asses for over a year now. Its been a year and only NOW do they even MENTION starting a Mac version. Dont hold your breath waiting on this vaporware. |

By the time TS3 comes out, I should have my PB paid off and maybe enough money to put down on a new G7... |
