...I would guarantee you will not get any bang for your buck putting a 9800 into a Mac with an AGP 2X slot- the two biggest bottlenecks will be; your CPU (if you haven't upgraded, then there's your slower CPU bus) and the AGP 2x slot itself. If you have a Radeon 7000 or 9000 (max) in your comp then you'd probably get a lot of bang for your buck... but then again it's not my money. ;) |
