Maestro March 04 - 10:18 PM

Direct X is more advanced than OpenGL, why can't MS make Direct X mac friendly? BTW, where did this MS is a Monopoly thing go?

well its bad enough that thier open gl support on windows has always been sabotoged and all games on windows mysteriously run better in direct x. couple this with longhorn, microsofts very beta new all 3d OS and it looks like open gl's last true home is the mac. apple will be pushing directX only compliance for longhorn and requirements for 3d cards was released quite a while ago for longhorn. open gl is about to feel like apple users, in a world of thier own. a very small world.
