what the hell!
the chump November 28 - 11:17 PM

the source code for this game has already been released to the general public and we're expected to pay $40? with any luck, fruitz of dojo will have a cocoa port within a year. what took so long to bring this to the mac?

to little to late....."hey i thought you November 23 - 3:14 AM

I agree with you all. I have been a die hard mac gamer for years (and probably will continue to be.) But it is REALLY starting to get under my skin when I go into CompUSA to pick up a game such as "NWLF:GoYE" and find the PC counterpart priced at $19. On top of that it comes complete with the level editor, etc.. Common Mac game publishers!! If you're going to be bringing us great games and expect us to pay full price 2 or more years later, then at least give us a complete package worth paying $50 for!!!

late and expensive

at gogamer.com you can buy nolf2 for the pc at a price of $27 dollars (not to mention that the game has been out for a good while now). that really kind of speaks for itself. i certainly hope that the realistic requirements are not too different from the pc counterpart. if this actually runs well on a 300hmz machine with a rage128 then macplay deserves some points, but if it's another overdue game that requires twice the horsepower of it's pc version just to get decent frame rates, it seems like kind of a waste. however, i am glad that they are porting good games, and time for porting in general seems to be shortening.

reason I don't use my mac for gaming
migraineboy November 20 - 7:37 PM

This is it. A decent game that came out on the PC in late 2000 comes out on the Mac 2 YEARS LATER! My God, that is totally rediculous. Now I don't suggest going and buying a new PC for gaming, but you might consider a shiny new console. Heck, you could by that new PC so you could play No One Lives Forever 2! But don't worry, I am sure it will be on the Mac eventually.

A really good game for the Mac at last... even if itīs a bit late. I really hope they didnīt screw up the performance on this one.

But actually I donīt care because I will instead be playing Metroid Prime on the Cube for the next few weeks... ;-)))
