Great game
Henrik April 08 - 1:27 PM

This game is really fun to play!

I like it!
Zobeid April 07 - 7:51 AM

It seems like a fun little game. I had already tried out the demo and decided to register it before I even noticed that it was coded in Java. I like their cross-platform philosophy, and it's interesting to see something meaningful (not web applets) made with Java.

It's also nice to see a strategy game that is well made, but isn't overly huge and complicated, and doesn't cost $80 and come on a couple of copy-protected CDs (or a DVD) that I can never find when I take a notion to play.

The graphics don't look half bad.

Buy once play anywhere®
ben b April 06 - 1:32 PM

I guess this is encompassing Sun's idea (or should that be idealistic) approach but for consumers rather than developers. From the Oddlabs website:

"Oddlabs is committed to supporting the Mac OS X gaming community as well as Linux and Windows. We fully support all three platforms: Buy once, and you can download and run the game on any of these systems!"

Great for those of us who have and use multiple platforms.
