I have a PS2, X-box, and PC, and the only reason I ever touch my Mac to play games is the AWESOME people on EQ Mac Al'Kabor and my AWESOME Guild!!!!

give it a shot

I've been on the mac server, Al'Kabor, playing EQ since January -- it's a great server, lots of nice folks. The EQ learning curve can be a bit steep at first - definitely worth googling around a bit, and checking in at the main board supporting Al'Kabor, Plenty of help available.

A lot of the fun of it for me is the continuing depth of things to learn about. Also notable is that recently we have been getting lots more support with bug fixes, etc. -- Hobart is rockin' it, between his support and an influx of new players due to this free trial, I think the future of the server looks good.

I bought EQMac retail when it first came out. I was thoroughly disappointed, as I recall. I suppose this'll give me another free 30-day try at it.
