So I'm starting to see reviews pop up for The Cave, a new adventure game from Doublefine/Ron Gilbert:

Metacritic doesn't mention a Mac version, but Doublefine's website does. I can't get to Steam right now to verify, but apparently the Mac version was released at the same time as the PC and Linux versions.

Cliff Johnson seems to have finally reached the finish line! The Fool and His Money (sequel to his classic and dastardly puzzle game Fools Errand) is due to ship in one month:

I preordered this thing back in 2003, and its original ship date has been pushed back from 2004 many times. But I loved Fools Errand and 3 in Three, so I never regretted that vote of confidence. I'm just glad I'm still alive to see the day. :-)

Freeverse founders resigned; others laid off

I'm late to this, but apparently the Freeverse founders have resigned and this was followed quickly by ngmoco laying off many of the rest of the people.
