Posts I've Made

In Topic: Fallout 4

I had my PA "borrowed" once by a settler. I was crafting at one of the settlements when it was attacked. A random settler saw it figured I wasn't using it so he might as well. After the attack was over I was able to get it back. I can't remember if I said please or just shot him in the head.

If I recall correctly I have three extra sets of PA sitting at Sactuary. Occasionally I'll have one of my three "wives" put it on for some "role play", if you know what I mean.

And yeah, Fallout 4 is a great game. I have about 190 hours in it, though, I haven't played it in months. The physics can be especially fun sometimes...

Any chance you can take a look at the PowerBook 1400CS to see if it still works?
I've an old copy of MacDraw II that only works with MacOS 9.

cheers!

Sorry pup. I took all the old Macs last week to a local charity that provides computers to underprivileged kids.

Slightly off topic, but related...

Is there a way that you could use an eGPU to share a video card between two computers without having to physically swap a cable connection?

Here's a new question for the newsletter, inspired by F1 2017's imminent release on macOS:

What's your favourite car to drive in a game, and why?

This is kind of a toss up for me between two different "cars."

On one hand, I might have to say the Warthog in Halo was favorite vehicle to drive, during multiplayer. I have many, many fond memories of racing Warthogs on Blood Gulch and Danger Canyon with my group of friends. We ran those maps together for years. Of course, I also have many, many bad memories of losing my Warthog while racing on Danger Canyon and trying desperately to get one back, while on foot, with just a pistol. I didn't really care for the Warthog then. Or my friends for that matter. It's only fun when I get to be the jerk.

Being a jerk, in a car, is why the Magnum Opus might be my other favorite. From impaling Roadkill on your boarder spikes to slinging some hapless Scrotus dog across the map with the harpoon, you can be all kinds of jerk in the Magnum Opus. The best part is, because you're Max Rockatansky, you can be the biggest jerk ever but still get to be the hero. Yeehaa! "Hey kids, who wants to see my thunderpoon?""

Crawmerax the Invincible, maybe? I mean, it's right there, in his name.
