My Apologies. I should have been more  clear that I was referring to the PC/ Steam version in my last post. I always forget about the Mac App Store version.

I believe that no matter where you buy BL2, if you play it primarily on the Mac in the first couple of weeks after activating on Steam, Aspyr gets a piece of the pie. I vaguely recall seeing a post about this from one of the Aspyr pups but, of course, I can't find it now.

BL2 is SteamPlay and Steamworks. Doesn't matter which "version" you buy.
