Geekbench 4 was recently released. They added a new GPU OpenCL benchmark.

Mac Pro 2009 (CPU upgraded to quad core 3.46 GHz) with a GTX 680 : 57,487 (OpenCL score under Win 10, will try OS X later)

Edit: on OS X (10.11.6), only 45,941. So Win 10 is 25% faster.

I ordered yesterday a GTX 1070 which should put these scores to shame.

Michal, that's right, but since I use my Mac for gaming and Internet browsing, I won't need OS X anymore and I already seldom boot into it.

1070 is a fantastic card, but you might be getting CPU bottlenecked in CPU reliant games. If you seldom use OS X anymore I would maybe recommend selling the Mac Pro and putting together a Skylake build with the 1070.

Sneaky Snake, that's actually the plan. I'm waiting for the next CPU generation (Kaby Lake) whose desktop versions should be out around January .

Does anyone know how accurate Geekbench's CPU score is? I was just watching a review of the Core m3 2016 Macbook, and noticed that my iPhone 6S gets a higher Geekbench 4 score.

The GTX 1070 broke the 150,000 barrier, impressive!
