Been somewhat out of the Mac gaming seen for awhile. Any reason this never showed up on OS X? or anyone able to get it working in WINE etc?

Yea. I miss this one too.
Maybe Origins didn't sell that well? Or Ubisoft being Ubisoft toward licensing Mac ports?

Best version is on Wii U anyway. Perfect GamePad integration.

Oh for sure, but the game would be awesome to have on the go on my laptop.

Legends' PC version is tied to Uplay, unlike Origins. Maybe Ubi didn't want a "PC" version that doesn't include Uplay.

UbiSoft dropped releasing Mac ports of its games around 2012 (they were quite prolific before - Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, Rayman Origins, etc. were all made for Mac), and Rayman Legends came after that. It's a shame because Legends improves upon Origins in every way (and even includes most of its levels), so on OS X we are stuck with a less-than-definitive Rayman experience.
