Hi all!
So recently, I decided that I'm totally done with using the mouse and keyboard on some games, such as Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood or Borderlands 2. I tried using Gamepad Companion to map the keys, as the games apparently don't have native controller support, but when I do that, it only registers the mapped controls using the mouse, not the keys; when I quit the game, however, all of the buttons seem to be working (by typing random letters in textedit or such). I'm sure this would count for other games as well, but I have no idea how to fix this. Anybody know what's wrong?

Sorry, I don't have Gamepad Companion to try so I can't comment on that. But you could try USB Overdrive, it's got a free demo. I'm using it to map a keyboard volume dial on a 3rd-party keyboard at work-- a bit overkill for that, but it does work.

Current setup: macOS 10.11.x/2008 MacPro 3,1 Xeon 2 x 2.8GHz/8GB RAM/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB
