From ending credits I get feeling Panic is doing marketing/sales part only.

I have mixed feelings about the game itself. Is something unique and new but on the other hand at the end it was very unsatisfing. There are multiple dialog choices but they all lead to the same ending.

I WOULDN'T KNOW I CAN'T SEE MY MAP. And I'm trying to be a good little Mac user and finish it on my Mac.

Someone should tell Panic it would be good marketing if they gave Campo a Mac to test on so I'm not over on the premier Macintosh Gaming Forum complaining I can't see my map.

How come you have to look at a map? I mean, if you are in some tower on fire watch aren't you supposed to be scanning the horizon all the time with your binoculars looking for I don't know, fires maybe? Oh, yeah and talking to some girl in a tower someplace else doing the same thing? Am I remembering that right? If so, I'd skip the map and really the looking for fires too and just see what the girl is up to mostly.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

Wanted to finish it. Installed it on Windows to get around blank map. On one hand I thought the end was deceiving. ON the other hand I have had some personal experience with people in similar psychological situations so I kind of see what they were going for. It's hard to discuss without tossing in spoilers.

I would give it a 7/10 for story and general enjoyment.

Most every personal review I've heard thus far was it was over sooner than they expected, and while the atmosphere and build up was great, the end was kind of a dud.

Still, I'm kind of intrigued. Debating picking it up myself.

That seems accurate. It almost felt like there should have been an extra half hour/ hour in there that was sliced out.

I would wait till a sale. Let us early Panic fan aderpters take the hit.

I've given my impressions in the "What games are you playing" thread and can second Michal's and Rakden's summary: The atmosphere is awesome, it's a really fresh setting and I liked the dialogue between Henry and Delilah. Given the protagonists 'extreme' personal situation, I can understand the author's decision for the final scene, but it still feels unsatisfactory because the situation is not solved for anyone -- if that makes any sense at all.

The whole game is an Allegory, which is fine, I get the ending, it fits within the confines of what the creator was trying to accomplish with the game. It just does not feel satisfying at all. But maybe that's the intent too, rarely does life takes exactly where we want to go. Maybe is the best conclusion ever. A conclusion is you.
