With trove being released for OS X I wonder if there is hope they will port Defiance. :sabber:

A free-to-play game, yet MGS is 'selling' it. Go figure.

That MGS pack is a good deal. Don't sell your selves short.

I think maybe the title is wrong on the MGS listing. It should say like pack or something. Cause just "Trove" on steam... is 'free' heh.

The MGS pack is in fact the Power Pack.

*Haven't heard about game before. Clicks on link in OP. Sees Minecraft style graphics. Closes link. Lives on happily ever after*

Haha. I'm not sure what the draw is to voxel boxey block games. Maybe its a throwback to legos? I dunno. I find the game genre unappealing to say the least.

The graphics in most of these voxel games does leave something to be desired. But I generally find them endearing as long as there is gameplay to back it up.  I think Everquest Next was supposed to have this open sandboxy voxel world manipulation but with modernish graphics. I haven't really heard anything about them in a while though. There was a student over in CCOM that was really into it but he's gone now and I mostly absorbed EQ Next info by osmosis when I wandered over to the College of Medicine.

Last one I played was Ace of Spades online shooter, much like any other online shooter with goals like king of the hill, capture the flag, et al. I kind of got sick of it pretty quickly though, even though it was generally done well. Just seemed to end up being the same thing over and over... someone always destroying what you are tryin to make ;)

I played a little Ace of Spades, it was fun in short bursts but the building seemed pointless given the gameplay and pace of the game. I liked Zombie mode though. Dig yourself to the center of some mountain and keep shuffling enough to throw everyone off your trail.

Now, if they could bring themselves to officially support Rift on the Mac, then I'd be interested...
