It's free. It has an editor. What more reasons do you need to try it?

Tharg like. Tharg not smash this.
You must gather your party before venturing forth.

Pressing J for JUMP!

I like it but we need to add some of original sounds. Targeting planets and jumping comes to mind.

Glip. Glip. Glip.

Glooboobeep. VwooooooooooOOOOOOO *ZHAPOW* (Thunder sound also used by the After Dark screensaver for System 7)

Those sounds are still burned into my mind's ear.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

I managed to open Sounds.ndat files (all three games) with MissionComputer 4.2.0.
I can play sounds but it seems there is no way to export them.
Any ideas?

They can be recorded with Quicktime using SoundFlower extension but that is a lot of manual labour.

Oh, I loved the flying toasters! I would love to have flying toasters again.

Looks fun. Need more time. Need so much more time. Currently need to finish Max Payne 3 and free up over 30 gigs of space.

Ah, bummer. When I read the thread title, I read it as "Terminal Velocity" clone....

I woulda been all over that.

That's funny. I didn't mention it but I initially thought the same thing and had the same reaction.
