Hi guys. I come with a bit of a dilemma.

I am currently playing Oblivion on my Mac, using Paul The Tall's Steam build. It plays fine but I have encountered problems with the mod load order whenever I tried to install mods. The problem is I am unable to manually move the load order around, and it is automatically set to being alphabetical. Clicking Reset to Defaults only activates Oblivion.esm.

Anybody know how I can get around this?
Thank you in advance.

Modding is already a headache in windows... trying to do it in wine....

Oh boy.

I can only recommend you try installing LOOT or BOSS into the steam build and have that sort your load order.
Maybe it really is all cocks in the end.

Haha thanks, man. Yeah I've looked into doing that, but I'm not sure how one would go ahead doing that manually. Will it work if I just put the .exe file/s into the Skyrim folder or is there something more specific I'd have to do/assign etc.?

Right click on the steam build app, open the package contents, double click on the wineskin app and click install software. Then go the loot/boss installer.exe file and install it that way. I dont know how either of these programs work in wine but I imagine it should be okay.
