Yosemite Public Beta 2 was just released.

So far sound is restored to Diablo 3 and Tomb Raider works again, anyone else?

I actually got lower speeds with games, but I am on Intel HD.
Maybe it really is all cocks in the end.

OK Yosemite is here this morning.  I'm waiting for you early adaptors to take the slings and arrows for me.  Let me know how it goes and especially if you can play the director's cut of Deus Ex: HR and especially Borderlands pre-sequel.  Don't want to upgrade until those games are functioning properly.

If I'm on the 6th beta do I need to actually download the main Yosemite now or am I good?

You're fine. The final release is actually one build newer, but IMO it's not worth it to waste all that time reinstalling. 10.10.1 shouldn't be far behind anyway.

Ugh. World of Tanks, already custom Minimum setting, just tanked (ha!) the frame rate under 10.10 Yosemite. Went from playable to utterly stuttering. Wow.

Fuuuuuu all this game talk makes me thing I shouldn't have just kicked off the update on my Mac Pro. I'm sure its going to disable the Nvidia Web Driver. Why didn't Battle Cat warn me even though I think he did but everything is a cats fault and no I'm not just mad because my ancient diabetic cat peed on my shoes so I am taking it out on the Battle Cat that is not what is happening at all so don't even bring it up.

Max Payne 3 is now crashing once in a while. It's a cider port though.

No  issues with the indie games I've tried: Swappper, Shadowrun, Antichamber. Or FIFA 12, also a cider port.
