Quick Note: It seems as if polls are capped at 10 options... so the last few couldn't get in there. Sorry.

I picked "Other" and figured I'll mention Spiderweb Software

Otherwise it would probably be MacPlay
Macintosh Heroes of Might and Magic

Aspyr, Blizzard, Ambrosia. In that order.

I end up with 70% of my game collection when I add up the games from those three companies.

Blizzard and Ambrosia deserve special mention. There hasn't been ONE dud in their whole game line-up. Impressive...

Reminds me being asked "Who's your best friend?" in grade school, how can you pick just one?  I reluctantly went with Blizzard because Starcraft and Diablo2 ate so much of my life, along with Blizzards conversion of both Diablo2 and Starcraft to OSX, and a simultaneous Warcraft3 release.  But I will always love Ambrosia, too.

I voted for Aspyr, then (too late!) skimmed down the list and saw Blizzard, who I would have voted for if I had noticed. So Blizzard, then Aspyr.

Better yet, who's releasing more games without the need for a patch within one week of its release?

LOL! I guess MacPlay is out of the running then.

However, please note that this might often have more to do with the porting company than the Mac publisher......

Aspyr for their titles, but also for the fact that, compared to other publishers, they release titles fairly soon after announcing them.

How long have we been waiting for Max Payne since it got announced? Compare that to the fairly quick turnaround for MoH, for example. I know there's other issues at play here - i.e. porting a Quake 3 game is faster than porting a game with a new render engine that you have to port from scratch, issues with the original PC publishers, etc, but some of the other publishers could certainly learn a few PR lessons from Aspyr.
