If I recall correctly, the files for Steam apps are in the /USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/xxxxx location.  I swear I used to be able to find this, but now I cannot find a Library folder in the USER directory.  Did this get hidden in 10.7.5 ?

thanks,

Go to the Terminal and enter:

chflags nohidden ~/Library

If it balks, then

sudo chflags nohidden ~/Library

It'll fix that hidden Library annoyance right up.

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

That might be a Steam issue. I have seen reports on the Steam and MacRumors forum that Metro LL does not seem to run for quite a few people after the latest Steam update.

it doesn't appear that it needs 10.8.x.  I didn't see a flag for requiring 10.8 in the .plist file.  I also see that the App Store says 10.7 is required.  Something else is going on, and I am not alone with this problem.

Easy access to your "hidden" User Library:
From the Finder menu, go to "Go" menu, hold down the option key… voila, now you can go there quickly.

Apple didn't want to completely hide it, just to keep out people who thought a "Library" folder sounded like a good place to but their books and such ;).
The commute from Mill Valley to Cupertino is a real bitch.
