Have you seen this http://www.kickstart...ome-deliverance ?
Your thoughts?

I presumed they were going for PC and consoles only but possible Mac and Linux support is big suprise since they use Cryengine and propably have very little experience with OS X. I'll try to gather more info about that.

I think it looks pretty interesting.

I'm wary of Kickstarter projects over-promising and under-delivering, but I'll send some $$ their way.
You must gather your party before venturing forth.

I am not afraid of under-delivering with this one. It is under development for more than a year + release is set for late 2015 + only partial kickstarter funding. My only fear is that it will be good but not great - 7/10ish game.

I really interested in this. It's looks like it could be quite immersive. Has there been anything else like this in the past? (medieval open world RPG - no fantasy)
2015 13" rMBP: i5 5257U @ 2.7 GHz || Intel Iris 6100 || 8 GB LPDDR3 1866 || 256 GB SSD || macOS Sierra
Gaming Build: R5 1600 @ 3.9 GHz || Asus GTX 1070 8 GB || 16 GB DDR4 3000 || 960 Evo NVMe, 1 TB FireCuda || Win10 Pro
Other: Dell OptiPlex 3040 as VMware host || QNAP TS-228 NAS || iPhone 6S 64GB

The question is clear, thank you. We plan to do the port ourselves and we should have more information we can share with you in few months. Thank you for your patience.

You may have heard. Mac & Linux support won't be there when game launches.

Support for Mac and Linux platforms at launch

However thing looks even worse. I've got info from someone in Warhorse.
Mac version is basically out of the window because of current state of Apple hardware.
Linux version should have been possible thanks to Crytek support in Cryengine tools. However current state of Linux integration is unusable and looks abandoned.

You can ask them for a refund without a problem. It's what I did. It might take a few weeks until you actually get the money (about three weeks in my case), but they don't make any fuzz about it.

I Could but I don't want to do that. I hope they manage to release great game at least for Windows.
