The closest thing there is to a true successor to the original Tomb Raider games – Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris – got Mac depots.

I was sad we never got the first game and I got excited, but I just looked at the reviews for this. Not very good.

Oh, the game is still decent. If I recall correctly, the not too enthusiastic reviews stemmed mostly from this game being not too different from the first one and a couple of inexplicable performance problems.

You've played it? According to Steam it has bad controls, terrible performance, lots of bugs, and the gameplay is much easier than the first.

Played and finished it. I agree in part with the complaints about the performance, which really wasn't great in some levels, but I didn't encounter many bugs. The controls are identical to the predecessor (it basically controls like a twin stick shooter), and it's definitely not "much easier" than GoL. It's somewhat shorter, though.

Devil Daggers. :)

EDIT: Oops… barely found it, and it's released. And it's even on sale.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Yup, the Mac version is already in the works.

Wow, nice. Going to be playing this one in its full DX12 glory in a few weeks, though.

Gonna replay through Human Revolution, I miss that perfect game. Hopefully Mankind Divided is good too.
Maybe it really is all cocks in the end.

It looks like The Witness may be getting a Mac version (I'm not sure if one was ever announced).

It's got some clever (and tricky) puzzles, though I think Obduction will be more to my tastes.

There was some talk early on (about Linux and iOS versions, too), but then never was mentioned again. Nice to see it's still coming.

Looking at the Devs twitter feed. iOS is still happening. Linux is very unlikely.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. I am always partial to Cyan's story-based approach, but Blow does a brilliant job teaching you the mechanics. I think Obduction could have used some help in this area.

I asked him on Twitter not too long ago if the Mac version was still happening, and he said yes, if they could overcome some issues. So, good news.

It apparently turned out to be somewhat disappointing, but Mafia III's (seemingly) coming for Mac.

I'd read that even the highest spec PCs were struggling to run it so I'm not sure what will happen with a Mac port...

After browsing past posts in this thread, I thought it might be time for a short moment of silence for all the possible Mac releases we had great hopes for, but which never made it and probably never will:
  • Saints Row 2
  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Saints Row IV
  • Saints Row: Gat out of Hell
  • System Shock: Enhanced Edition (okay, we'll be getting the full remake)
  • F1 2015
  • Viscera Cleanup Detail
  • Darksiders
  • Payday 2
And truth to be told, I think Evolve won't make it either, despite it apparently still being on the Feral radar.

May they rest in peace…

Why so? Am I missing something here?

No activity in the Mac depots for 12 months or more, in most of the listed cases while releasing a Linux version in the meantime.

Anyway, Feral gives trying to port recent F1 games to Mac another shot: F1 2016 has Mac depots.

'Dawn of War III' has five different branches mentioning Feral.
