Mythic has announced a "parting gift" for fans of Warhammer Online: Age or Reckoning, which will close on December 18. Those with accounts in good standing will be able to play the game free of charge until the end. Mythic is also adding some new NPCs and unique experiences for players to enjoy during that time. The game features Realm vs Realm combat and allows players to enter a grim fantasy world where the armies of Order and Destruction collide to determine the fate of nations.

Effective immediately we will be turning off the ability to apply one month subscriptions and game time codes to Warhammer Online accounts and removing the ability to open new Warhammer Online accounts.

To give Warhammer Online a proper sendoff we are opening the game to anyone free of charge that has or had an account in good standing starting October 31st, 2013.  We will be adding new NPC’s to the game in order to power up your characters as well as other unique experiences for everyone to enjoy as we say goodbye to Warhammer Online over the next few weeks.  So please join us and help say goodbye to Warhammer Online in one last big WAAAGH!

FOR THE HORD.... oh wait.

Jokes aside, sad to see it go. I like the Warhammer world, although I hate Games Workshop by now.
"They're everywhere!"

And now, time for some Legend of Zelda.

WH was the only game in which I really enjoyed PvP. I know it had flaws aplenty, but it's actually the ONE game I still miss even years later.
