There's a new Humble Bundle available now: the Indie Bundle 9. It's a pretty strong bundle, containing Trine 2 Complete, Brütal Legend, Eets Munchies (as beta), FTL, Mark of the Ninja and Fez. The latter two are new for the Mac.

Yeah, really strong bundle this time. Picked it up immediately, only for Trine 2 actually.

bundle is worth it for Mark of the Ninja alone, as that game kicks serious ass above all the others. Sad that they decided to do the mac debut of the game with the humble bundle.

That's hardly the first time this happened, especially for Klei Entertainment. Shank 1 and 2 also debuted on the Mac as part of Humble Bundles. As did several other games, including Brütal Legend.

Did I say it was the first time?

Technically no, but it was implicit in every letter of every word of that sentence.  The cadence and the pressure of every single keystroke screamed it.  You shan't worm your way out of this one, the forensics betray your true intent.

No, but it shouldn't have surprised you either.

I was surprised? I was sad.

You guys really need to stop reading into what I say... I am not that deep... I am very shallow, and what I say is pretty much it ;)

If you are shallow, you are not a gamer. Can i have your games?

When that steam friends/family sharing is enabled you can play them if I'm not.

The only two games I'm remotely interested in in this bundle are Mark of The Ninja or Fez.. the rest I already have or are not interested in.

Also there's a new humble weekly sale for Retro shooters.... however most of it I already own except I never got around to purchasing System Shock 2...

https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

Also, Serious Sam HD First, Second Encounter and Hard Reset need to be ported beyond Windows. I've played the former wrapped and the latter in parallels.... but native ports would be welcome.

Serious Sam 3 BFE has great 3D sound once I replaced Apple's OpenAL with OpenAL Soft so I'm sure HD:FE and SE would too. They did in WINE with OpenAL Soft's Windows DLL in the wrapper at least.

Hard Reset did too but I had to set the virtualized (in parallels) sound card to 7.1 channels for it to recognize it despite only having 5.1.

Anyway, I kind of wish that one could count on formerly windows only games to debut with Mac\Linux versions in the humble bundles because we'd get a lot of games that way including the ones I mentioned in this post. That wouldn't be sad that would be happy! :P

On the fence about this bundle. I heard a lot about noise about Fez real early, but never actually read any reviews. Worth playing?

(I already own Trine 2 (no expansions) but I'm not sure making it more complete will get me to play it any sooner. Already own Brutal Legend.)

Scepticism against the usual reviews aside, most people seem to agree that Fez is a good game.

Bought this just for Fez, which I am enjoying. For those that haven't played it, Mark of the Ninja was my favorite game of last year. It's terrific, almost like a 2D Deus Ex. Unfortunately the Bundle doesn't give you the DLC, but it's understandable since it recently came out.

Yup, the DLC is on my wishlist, waiting for a sale since I hate paying top dollar for "D L CEEEEEEEEEEEEE"....
