The only games I bought so far are Bioshock Infinite and Scribblenauts Unlimited, which both were on my wishlist for quite a while and which I will definitely play (well, Scribblenauts depends on how well it runs in CrossOver).

The only other three that tempt me are Civ V Brave New World, Wargame Airland Battle and Monaco. BNW is too new for a significant sale, though. In the case of Wargame ALB, the Mac version is still a couple of months away, with probably more opportunities to get it for little money, and I'd like to finish the predecessor first – but I'm completely stuck there already in the first campaign. And Monaco seems to be a very likely candidate for an upcoming Humble Bundle, which I would prefer.

Still waiting on this one as well, it lost the vote days ago and hasn't been back since. A humble bundle won't happen for a while because it would have to be ported to Linux first. But the dev has expressed interest in doing so.

The humble bundle has made me super cheap, I've held off buying games that are Mac/Linux/windows even if they're 2.50 :/

I said to my self that I wouldn't buy a single game during the summer sale due to a huuuuuge backlog, but I couldn't resist the urge to get XCOM for just 10 euros.

If I bought Monaco on Steam today, the Linux port of it would be released tomorrow as a Humble Bundle premier. That happened for me with Super Meat Boy, Bastion, Limbo and Dustforce...

Haha wow, that's some terrible bad luck.

They are looking into Linux, but here's what they said July 5:

Quote

It's hard to evaluated where to distribute our man hours. We have a team of 2 working on the ports and that isn't that many people. If Mac requires a lot of customer support, like supporting old operating systems and whatnot, then we need to divert attention to address those before working on other platforms.

So I would expect it's at least some months away.

It's going on sale at 50% in exactly an hour, so today is really the perfect day...

I really, really wanted the the Total War Grandmaster Collection when it was $60 down from $170, but I've already spent too much considering I just dropped $600 on a hardware upgrade this month too. Gah.

Next time.

You could buy Monaco from their site (thats what I did). It uses the Humble Store, gives you a Steam key and is currently matching the steam sale on price. Mac version is up and I'd bet you'll be able to download a linux build once it is released.

PS: anyone have an extra Kerbal or Torchlight card they want to trade for a Football Manager one?

On the subject of trading cards, I've been looking at and messing around with this business today.

Anybody have Football Manager, Prison Architect, and/or Reus? I have an extra BioShock Infinite and two extra Skyrims I can give ya.

I'm missing Reus and Chivalry... but have extras of Football, Prison, Skyrim and Torchlight. Some "friend" on my list was wanting TWO of my cards for just one of his. Yeah, thats a fair trade... Greedy futhermucker. I dont know why I'm friends with the guy, don't even know him, and well, whatever.

I'm still missing Torchlight and Kerbal but now I have an extra Skyrim, a Bioshock and two Football to trade.

Frost, I'll trade one of my Football for your Bioshock if you want. I'll add you on steam when I get back from work (steam name same as my name here).

Janichsan, did you finish up all you need? Cause I have spares and do need a Reus yet.
