iEntertainment Network has announced the debut of M4 Tank Brigade for Mac OS X, a free new massively multiplayer online WW II tank game. Players can control up to 4 tanks, maneuver each for different combat missions, control airstrikes and artillery, jump between vehicles, and fight for battlefield dominance. The game also allows Mac and Windows PC users to battle against one another.

iEntertainment Network Inc. announces the release of its brand new, Free M4 Tank Brigade, massively multiplayer online World War II Armored (tank) Simulation for Mac computers. This new Mac product (for Mountain Lion OS and all recent Mac OSs), allows Mac players to join the online combat arenas of M4 Tank Brigade along with PC users.

This new M4 Tank Brigade Mac product joins the series of long running IENT Massively Multiplayer combat simulations, including WarBirds 2013. Mac M4 Tank Brigade opens Online Play to a large group of new potential players who have Mac computers and had no access to any online armored combat game simulations. IENT has also continued development on its new Great Outdoors Online Games Universe and is currently testing Alpha versions of these new outdoor event game products.

With the launch of the new Mac M4 Tank Brigade product, Mac players now can join the fun online, in massively multiplayer online (MMO) combat, command up to four armored vehicles at once, use the in game tactical map to position each vehicle for tactical advantage, jump between vehicles to insure the player is always right in the action, call in Airstrikes and Artillery strikes on the enemy, and generally beat the pulp out of their PC friends online in Free MMO battles for terrain supremacy.

This new Mac M4 product also enables Mac players to participate in MMO Combined Arms events where they can use airpower (P-51s, B-17s, etc.) to soften up an enemy field and then jump to their tanks, to take the ground battle right to the enemy.

IENT also continues to move forward quickly on the IENT Great Outdoors Online Games Universe development.  A new IENT Great Outdoors Beta game movie is available from the main IENT website.

It's be nice if the downloaded ZIP file wasn't corrupt.

I've downloaded it six times now. First couple were corrupt, next few missing fonts and other resources, now the last several have said unable to open because the file doesn't exist.

It's on the iENT site. http://www.m4tankbrigade.com

Click the Play for Free, fill in an email, and see what downloads. That ZIP file is not usable.

Yeah, corrupted here (or wont decompress). PS: MGS sells the solo play version of the game (which does download ok).

I downloaded the 2.15GB zip and then used The Unarchiver program instead of built-in BOM to unzip which had error could not extract wfronttex.vfc but it ran anyway. Then clicking on the Update button at bottom downloaded mandatory update which I think included that file.

Its been playing so far.
