how can i check Frame rates of games in particular COD 4

is there anything like FRAPS for mac? if not is there a command or config or something that will show frame rates in COD 4 and is there a list of ways for other games?

For CoD 4 use game console.

Command is someting like cg_drawFPS 1 <- google it. I am not sure :)

There is no utility like Fraps for OS X.
