The maps are more complex and detailed, have more people, load in a quarter of the time that Black Ops does for Mac... there's no need to point out how fluid it is on top of that, is there?
There's the typical wusses running around with little, no-skill buzz guns jumping around like jackrabbits but that's to be expected.
EDIT: Well I just played a few rounds of Black Ops for Mac and besides the amazing dearth of players its still really good. I really, really wish there was some way to allow Mac-PC play, I would have waited to get Black Ops 2 for whenever it became available for Mac.

I'm quite positive about we will get Black Ops 2 sooner compared to Black Ops 1.

I friend of mine gifted this game to me on Steam. I now remember why I despise COD games.I can just play COD4 and get the identical experience, only with better maps. This game offers nothing new over previous COD's.
The innovation here is worse then sports game, at least those you can purchase every 3 years or so and get a lot of new features, plus updated teams. I wonder when they're gonna change the name to "Call of Duty 2013". Since Call of Duty Modern Warfare we've had 5 call of duties. Is COD $300 better then it was in Call of Duty 4?

I don't have BO2, (just BO) but a friend of mine who plays both says Black Ops 2 is great and a big improvement. So clearly to each their own.

I was a bit harsh in my previous post. COD's are fun games in their own right, it's the fact that game to game their little to no change that bothers me. Look at MW3 for example. It's pretty widely agreed upon that that game was a $60 map pack for MW2. I would invite your friend to list the "big improvements" that black ops 2 brings over previous COD's. The list will be very very short.

I uninstalled Black Ops [Mac]. Way too much cursing in the single player, and the "pièce de résistance" of CoD for as long as I've been playing it, multiplayer, is really marred. It's really difficult to catch that 18th spot many times in the sparse amount of servers with some people on it with pings that are from my side of the planet.
I've recently taken to Battlefield 3 via Bootcamp. The larger maps are a breath of fresh air while the required tact doesn't lend itself so easily to the jackrabbit-with-an-uzi approach that easily allows ballerinas to pirouette around getting kills without much effort in CoD. Heck I uninstalled Black Ops 2, also! lol Black Ops 2 is a LOT more fun than Black Ops Mac, though.
