$59.99 pre-order from gameagent.com, a bit expensive perhaps? All though you do get access to some "premier club" content apparently, no idea what that is. Also Steam activation is required.

Pre-order from GameAgent to get free access to Premiere Club Content, including the fifth playable character Gaige the Mechromancer!,

Just copied the bits I found the most interesting.

They probably had their hands full with other games, but now we´ll get both this AND batman: AC in November, which is just perfect imo. They´re both great porting companies as well, so who cares who ports them?

Too bad my exams are in the way...

It's the same cost as the PC version, which is necessary due to it being a Steam Play game.   The Premier Club content is the Mechromancer class, a Golden Key for the chest in Sanctuary, some starter guns, and a Relic that boosts rare drops.

Thats fair enough, not that it would keep me from buying it anyways. :)

Really cool that you can play online with your pc friends, as many of my friends are stuck with windows.

What about DLCs?, I noticed it said "DLC: Yes" on the gameagent store. Correct me if I am wrong, but aren´t there a few out allready?, if so will they be coming to the mac?, and what about future DLCs?, can we expect to get them around the same time our pc friends are getting them?

Also, will it be released on the Mac App Store?

12days to go :w00t:

I've been burned a few times over the year by Aspyr titles being lackluster in terms of keeping up with technical issues, game updates and additional content but I am happy to get the game for my Mac, was thinking about getting it for PS3 but would play it on PS3 instead.

Mainly surprised that considering the great job Feral did with the prior title they didn't do this one too.

Any public knowledge to share as to why this is Steam Play but Black Ops is not?

Too bad this is out of stock now: http://www.game.co.u...lands-2-148835? might be some left in store.

I think I'll pick up the Aspyr version once there is a GOTY version with all DLC.

I just skipped all the DLC last time round because I finished it as soon as it came out and missed great content that I couldn't be bothered enough to go back to play.

Well Rage (from Aspyr) ran really well on Mac. Apparently the port on Mac was handled better than on PC. Too bad the game is so boring.

Don´t want to turn this into a thread about whether Aspyr is better/worse than Feral, but I´ve bought many of their ports and they´ve all been running excellent on my iMac.

Someone on a different forum mentioned that since Aspyr ported Duke Nukem: Forever which was developed by Gearbox who developed Borderlands 1 and 2, it wasn´t a surprise to him/her that Aspyr got Borderlands 2.

According to the link above, Borderlands 2 will be released on the MAS but that version will ONLY support MAC-vs-MAC through game centre. so if you want to play with your windows friends stay away from that version!!

Also on the gameagent blog there is a FAQ, too bad the blog is dead atm.

I love this bit: Q: Will any of the Borderlands 2 DLC content be available at launch for the Mac?
A: Yes! “Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty” and “Mecromancer Pack” will be available at launch for the Mac.  Aspyr will also be supporting future DLC content as it becomes available.

Aspyr and Feral had a fistfight over who got to port it, and Aspyr won.  Aspyr, standing over Feral's battered body, then raged, "Take Lego Star Wars away from us, will you!!!"

Stellar news! While I'm a bit saddened it won't be a Feral title (slightly overdeveloped sense of loyalty) I am happy that it will be a "full featured Steam Play title."

I never have to reboot into Windows again. Except for Saints Row. Tell Aspyr to get on that too.

Wow, that came out of nowhere. Good to hear Borderlands 2 is on its way. Unfortunately, I had hoped to get this game not before next year, when I have significantly reduced my pile of yet unplayed or unfinished games... Dammit, how can I finish all these games when you keep releasing new stuff I want play?!

I'm in the middle of Crysis 2 and Metro 2033 dang nabbit!

Hmmm, $5.99 for a 2-year extended download service? I'd love to get it from MGS instead (download later, whenever I want) but since the site redesign I haven't been able to purchase anything on MGS with PayPal.

I think you can easily forgo this, since it's a Steam game: you'll get activation code, enter it on Steam, — boom! — download as often as you want.

talk to frigidman, cuz that's a big problem indeed if the store can't accept potential customers.

I bought The Witcher on MGS a couple weeks ago using PayPal with no problems.  What browser are you using?
