Just started CoD4. Not as impressed as I have hoped for. Its a nice game world, but too scripted for me.

If 4 is too scripted for you, definitely don't touch any newer titles (although 5: World at War may be worth a try).

When there's a multiplayer version, I'm going to be on Frost's team. Well, except he doesn't seem to actually need a team...I mean, what's the point? "Hey look, it's Frost and His Merry Gang of Useless Hangers-On!" Or something.

For what it is worth, I like it more and more, as I get into it. I just had to get used to the lack of Doom style shooting. :P Multiplayer isn't my cup of tea though. Too much value in 14 year olds gaming time.

Still don't like the invisible script points though.

And I end up with a 5 star rating, what do you know? :P

I really liked the game as soon as I got into it. The game mechanics are a bit different than what one is used to, and it takes some time to get used to. But when you do, oh boy, excellent game! And multiplayer, phew, I had a blast! CoD:MW is 5/5 from me. Highly recommended!

Btw, I played this on hardened (Second hardest skill level), and some levels really gave me trouble. I ended up playing one them over 50 times without completing it, until I had to exploit the map as shown in a youtube movie, in order to complete it. But I liked the hard levels also!
