In a recent Ask Us Anything Q&A at Reddit, Runic Games CEO Max Schaefer revealed that the Mac version of its Torchlight II action RPG will not be available for at least "a couple months." In addition to a variety of monster types to slay and items to gather the sequel will introduce cooperative multiplayer action, a new user interface, and random dungeons.

Viperid 37: When is the Mac version of Torchlight II coming out? Do do you see TLII being in a Humble Bundle anytime soon?

maxschaefer: That's next on the agenda, but it will take a couple months at least.

I have still to finish the first one... It became way too repetitive IMO.

Sounds like Diablo 3... but I like going back to Torchlight. I trashed Diablo 3.

Buying the PC version this weekend as the devs have stated that the serial will work for the OSX version later. Plus, you get an editor on the PC side, so my Bootcamp partition is worth something after all.
