Yep.  All of the Moba's out there have pretty unfriendly communities, but DotA/2's community is renowned internet-wide for being almost radioactively toxic.

I think there's less flaming in dota 2 then league, but that's just my personal experience.

Both are pretty famous for hating new people.

As this moves closer and closer to release (I'm assuming it's almost there - there are fewer than 13 heroes left to port over), I keep waiting for word of the Mac beta client. Cooooome ooooonnnn, Vaaaalve!
