At first I was like "Hmmm... I'd like to see them in list view instead" and then I realized, "Oh, there's a button for that!".

Love it. Although, prehaps the Categories should be a bit more exposed..? Maybe that's just me. I could use a floating palette in the side with just the categories, for quick switching.

The requirements thing is absolutely insanely usefull - I think you'll gain sales just based on that!

But one question though - Why does the games say "This game requires a Mac"?

Edit: Wishlist isn't there anymore! :'(

Wishlist is there.

And "This game requires a Mac"? Well... using the site on anything but a Mac, I think its good to tell idiots "THIS NEEDS A MAC, STOP BUYING MAC GAMES FOR YOUR DAMNED IPAD". Ya know. Just saying.

The debate on Tile vs List was a big one in development. Since neither side wanted to give in, we made it an option. Users pref now.

Interesting idea of a detachable floaty category palette. I can tell you it would be seriously involved to work it in right, but it is a neat idea. Users pref of course ;)

Thats like telling the guy that walked into your mercedes shop that you don't sell bikes. You get this problem often, since it is so pronounced on the site?

Awesome application, very well written, great interface, ...
I believe the developer(s) from this application thought this very well true i.m.o.!
Flawless site integration and ditto for games you bought in the past.

It's totally different then comparable apps from the competition!
Still can't believe it's a Beta-App :)

You wouldn't belive how many iPad or iPhone people buy Mac games thinking they should run on their iDevice. There are even Windows users who buy Mac games not knowing what they did. It happens a lot it seems.

The prominent message only shows up if you happen to be on something that is "Not a Macintosh". Its not there otherwise ;) (or if it is, please let me know what mac you are running, and possibly your current user agent/web browser, so I can figure out why the flag didn't trip)

Macbook Pro late '06, Lion 10.7.4, Safari 6. Can't see it now though, which is funny, since I definitely saw it yesterday at one point!

Yeah, I also think it is a bit too large.

In the middle of my using my computer an ad comprising perhaps an eighth of my screen popped up promoting Lego Batman 2. To this I removed the MGS Helper App from the Login Items... Afterward I found out that its removeable via the Mac Game Store app preferences...

Successfully installed Rage via the Mac Game Store App and all went very smoothly. I think Steam could take a few hints and tips from MGS... :)

Glad to see this is out and getting more feedback. I had some input into the design earlier on. :) I think the top banner works, its meant to be dominant and grab your attention to the latest stuff put up there. But I'm also an an iMac and maybe on a laptop its overwhelming. Certainly something to consider.

Right, we had constant dilemmas with "what size" to do various things. Like the minimum the app window size can be... the size of the news notifier image... the size of the top promotional on the home page... even how big to make tiles in that one view. A big portion of people use macbook airs. Another big portion on 17" mbps and desktops with even higher res. Hard thing to balance.

It was taller in the original designs ;)

One thing I do like about the store... no BS all over the place. Have you gone to a random pickings of stores out there? The actual 'useful stuff' makes up about 20% of the page... while the rest is a pile of dren spewn in every inch of your screen.

I like when I see with both the website and the native client. Unless I'm missing something is there a way to show everything in list view in the native client? Other than that this is great and I plan to make use of it this Thursday when Empire: Total War comes out. I wish Steam worked this well! Great job!

Could you elaborate? Which list view, or which section or whatnot. Might be overlooking a preference, or something doesn't work that way and we could consider making it work as you are thinking, but I need a bit more info.
