TomsHardware.com

Been a while since I've been here. So, I thought I'd bring some good news too.

I love the First Torchlight and I'm really looking forward to TL2 with multilplayer backup and fun.
(Those powerful magician monsters in TL1 could really kick yo butt if you aren't prepared.)

Dunno for sure if it'll be ported to Mac OS X, but those who dual boot Windows can install it.

All the best, :P

It'll be released to OS X a few months later.

T2 should be glad that Baldurs Gate EE is only out for PC on the 18th.

It might be out for the Mac on that day as well. And if not probably only a few days later. It all depends on Apple's approval process.

Considering Torchlight is not on Mac App Store, what does Apple's approval have to do with the Mac release?

Tacohead was talking about BG: EE, which is a Mac App Store-only release.

I can wait it for to hit 5$ at MGS. Speaking of which, will it show up there?

I am usually not about modding - on my first playthrough - but the new Transmute functions reaaaaaallly sucks, since you can't level up Gems anymore.

Next I installed a mod to get the old transmute behaviour back.

They shouldn't mess with a man's game like that.  It smacks of Basilisk when they completely hobbled the player from Eschalon I by adding death by disease, starvation, thirst, poisoning, and crippling foul weather in Eschalon 2 and 3.  Wish I had a mod for those games.

There it is. Interesting that Steam is optional. I thought TL2 used it for multiplayer.

Its optional in the sense its not required to play the game yourself. If you want all the bells n whistles (and all the other extra nonsense) that steam provides, then you use the steam key from the purchase.

Actually it looks like steam is not required for multiplayer:

Hah, that was quick! So, are the big guys reading the forums or is Frigidman sending them secret messages? :P
