Feral and iCloud and wishlist.

I have already several games using iCloud for save game, but i would love the see AAA titles from Feral to have it! For example every time i play on BorderLands and DeusEx: Human revolution i manually copy save games from my iMac to my MacBookAir and viceversa... not so handy.
Why Feral games? Because they are on the best Mac software houses and they pay attention to details, i remember how i was happy to see iChat status changing options in Feral games. Or recently when they added mouse smoothing on/off in Borderlands by our request. I would love to have my BorderLands saves always with me when i play outside with my MacBook Air without getting crazy copying files.
I buy all my software from MacApp Store for multi license, ultra easy and fast delivery and for features like iCloud. Speaking for this i i would love to be alb to support this website by donations not only with Mac game Store. But this is another topic i will open in the next days!
If some other users agree with me about iCloud support we could write Feral about this features and see what they have to say about it.
Another thing in my wish list for Feral games are reduced prices for older games, i would think they sell a lot on Mac App Store, i think Feral have good prices considering the quality, support and specific Mac features and optimizations, but they should be lower prices after months/years for some games, this would boost sales, Mac gaming and would help us to find more friends playing some games online.
PS: off topic but any other have issue with Cyborg RAT mouse and DeuxEX?

"Bug 10134 - Suggestion: Enable Save games over iCloud"
It's not going to be coming in the next couple of games as implementing things like this need to be done slowly so you think of all the possible side effects etc. Take your time on the design and implement once instead of having patch to fix things you missed the first time is our golden rule. File limits are also an issue some games, Empire uses 70/80MB per save! One of our testers has a Save game folder that is GB's in size which is not feasible to have over iCloud!
Anyway this is just a post to tell you we have thought about this but we will as always take our time looking at the pro's and cons before it makes it into any game. We want to make sure it will do what is needed and makes the experience better before we use it in a public release.

We have a RAT mouse in the office now but the extra buttons not working in Deus Ex are down to the RAT drivers doing some strange things. I am sure we will find a way to make the drivers play nice but it's not the work of a moment.

Anyway it is kind o strange since i use my RAT mouse assigning keys to buttons, for example i have B G H assigned to side buttons, this way until now all my games worked without problems. Game menu assign these keys pressed from RAT correctly but in game they didn't work! If you need help testing, just contact me!!!

It's because they use an interesting way of making the key presses work. We listen out for the standard OS messages and they don't get sent these keys so likely the driver is doing something none standard or is using a method that is not public or not recommended. The other option is we have a bug somewhere deep in our mouse / keyboard code unlikely but I won't rule it out
We have one of our programmers setup with a RAT so he will get to fixing it in between working on graphics issues. Anyway the issue is not simple and we could not fix it at first glance but we do have a second glance planned

My wish list: Stop this label nonsense, if some 0.1% of users like it they can set it themselves

Our DRM images use Labels so the game name is easier to use they are usually stripped for MAS releases but it looks like they are not. You made a good point and I have logged it and it will be rectified from now on.
Cheers!

Fix fbug://10200 for all projects. $label is now not set for MAS builds
All patches and new games from now on will not have labels when sold in the Mac App Store.
Now that was fast if I say so myself
