TransGaming and Disney Interactive Studios have announced the Mac release of Brave: The Video Game. Based on the upcoming Disney•Pixar film, the game lets players take the role of Pixar's first female hero as well as other characters from the film.

Play as Merida, Pixar's first female hero and an expert archer, or as Will 'o the Wisp & other popular characters from the new Disney/Pixar film, as you run, jump, and battle your way through the rugged landscape of mythical Scotland. I really enjoyed this game. Although couldn't get my analogue stick/ game controller didn't work properly. I could more or less do all the moves except for shooting with the bow and arrow. For some reason this only seemed to shoot in one direction ( I tried two different models and both had the same problem). Anyway, managed to pick up the keyboard/ mouse controls eventually, but of course it would have been much more enjoyable to be able to use a game controller.

Xbox 360
