I did contact Bungie, actually (not sure if it was Jim.) I got a nice reply saying that they were working on some way to make the coupon usable in some kind of new Bungie/Microsoft store but that the details hadn't been worked out yet. As far as I know, they never were.
But maybe it's just as well. At this point I'm probably happier to still have the coupon. It's styled after a large dollar bill but with a Bezerk where the president would normally go.

Unfortunately you have to stay logged into the IMG forums permanently, otherwise the "feeling like a weirdo" thing comes back almost immediately. But that's OK, everything you could possibly want is here at IMG. There's no reason to leave.
