I'd love to try out Diablo 3 and see if it is worth buying. I managed to miss the open beta weekend because of a massive failure of my macbook pro.

Curses! I was going to run a contest for my 3 keys, and here Sneaky Snake is giving them away for free. Madness! I'm still going to run the contest though, probably through the MGC twitter feed. Stay tuned for details.
As for how much of the game it gives you, its the same as the beta content. Up to level 13 in all classes, no quests past The Skeleton King. But you don't get to use the auction houses like you could in the beta. There's no hour limit though, so you can play as much as you like. An extended demo if you will.
