Bethesda Softworks has announced The Elder Scrolls Online, a new fantasy MMO in development at ZeniMax Online Studios. The Elder Scrolls Online will be the first Elder Scrolls game to allow gamers to explore the Elder Scrolls world with others, and is being developed for Mac and Windows PCs.

"We have been working hard to create an online world in which players will be able to experience the epic Elder Scrolls universe with their friends, something fans have long said they wanted," said Matt Firor, game director of The Elder Scrolls Online. "It will be extremely rewarding finally to unveil what we have been developing the last several years. The entire team is committed to creating the best MMO ever made - and one that is worthy of The Elder Scrolls franchise."

The Elder Scrolls Online is being developed for PC and Mac under the leadership of industry veteran Matt Firor, who has spent the last two decades working in online game development. Details about the game are revealed in an exclusive cover story in Game InformerŪ's June issue, which ships to subscribers and newsstands this month.

The Elder Scrolls V: SkyrimŪ is the most recent title set in the award-winning Elder Scrolls universe. Skyrim, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, was released in November 2011 and enjoyed worldwide critical and commercial success. Skyrim earned hundreds of 'Game of the Year' awards, including top honors at the 2012 Game Developers Choice Awards, the 15th Annual 2012 Interactive Achievement Awards held at the 2012 D.I.C.E. Summit, and at the 2011 Video Game Awards. Internationally, Skyrim shipped over 10 million units within the first month of its release, was the second highest grossing title in the industry last year, and is the fastest selling title in Steam's history.
More information about the game will be made available soon.

to get official support yes... but you can play all of them without Windows  :-)

DOSBox runs 1 and 2... 3+ all run fine with Wineskin.

I pointed that out in another thread :P I play Skyrim just fine in Cider. Its not the open source version of Wine/wineskin but it is a derivative so there you go :)

Skyrim Cider hack currently runs better... I made a special engine for running it in Wineskin 2.5.5, but I still have some slightly-annoying mouse issues I haven't fixed.  Its playable, and the frame rates are basically the same as Cider, but the mouse works perfectly in Cider.  So if you don't have a problem using Cider hacks, thats the best way to go.

I can play them all, yes.  But not perfectly, not with performance as good as a native port, and not without errors and crashes that, to me, just aren't worth the headache.  I've been trying to get Fallout 3 and Oblivion running for years, but with only marginal success.  They always crash just a little too much to be playable.

Graphics are back to the cartoony look. Doesn't have the look of Skyrim at all.

Never played fallout anything... but Morrowind is buggy and hard to get running right, and has issues... the sad thing is, it doesn't run any better on Windows on my same machine, so I don't think its a Wine/Cider problem.  Oblivion on the other hand, I've played through the game twice under Wineskin from start to finish without ever having any issues at all.

Since they started Development in 2007, I wouldn't expect it to be too much like Skyrim.

This is a totally different RPG, not the normal Action/RPG game they usually are... everything is different about it, its just the same world and lore, but a much different game.
