Interesting. The price was $50. Glad to see it come down.

Kind of surprised this turned up after being so quiet. I remember the reviews liking it as a driving game but criticizing the story. I've never really been comfortable/effective with the movie car handling the Driver series uses though.

Why are the system requirements so enthused about ATI GPUs? Where are the nVidia cards? The 512MB VRAM requirement, must be a first for a Mac game, means that no HD2000 series GPU is supported (they were only available with 128MB and 256MB VRAM) contrary to the list.

Picked this up as I had a voucher to use. It seems OK so far for a bit of arcade fun. Thankfully it doesn't seem to stop you playing the single player if it looses connection to the server (patch AC2 please Ubisoft to match!).

The graphics resolutions available to me were all 16:9 with nothing 16:10. I did try editing the ini file to my native 1680 x 1050 which worked but some bits were then cut off the screen so I'm back to 1600x900 which leaves black bars  top and bottom. The game doesn't appear to see my wheel.

Does it come with the bonus "Can't Find a Firetruckin' Parking Spot Anywhere!!" mini-game?

I lived two years in the Bay area and that was a constant game I got to play when driving around downtown SFO.

I've not seen that mission yet :) - but you can happily just ram stuff out the way with very little damage to your car....I'd never have thought a Ford GT would hold up so well going head on with a truck.
