My quest to bring the first ever pro wrestling game to OS X has almost been realised.
If all goes well now my anime wrestling game POWERSLAM should be released for Mac users in a few months (fingers crossed).

It really has taken far too long for my second game to finally near completion so I couldn't help but announce it here!
I've also uploaded the intro to both vimeo & YouTube for anyone who wants to see it. (no demo at this stage)

Love developers creating for the Mac! Watched a few videos of the game too. I see that is says it is a UB! Is that correct? I would love to play this on my G5 Quad! But I can always play it on any of my intels also. My game Auto Sport Driving was actually created on my G5 Quad and is totally playable on it, but not with the effects on high though. Thus the reason I released only an intel version. You simply miss too much of the game.

The game looks very interesting and the anime style is definitely different. Good luck and thank you for creating games for the Mac platform!!!!

That's right JaguarGod, it will be a Universal Binary. The more Macs it can run on the better.
Just Googled your game, cool to see it is a Mac exclusive and on the App Store. Will have to check it out.

The testing has gone good so far and most bugs have already been squashed. So all set for a 26th of January release at this point.

Hmmm... Ordered my UB copy, but it will not download? It simply hangs, then says could not redirect. Tried on both Safari and Camino with the same results.

Yes, it worked. It was giving me "too many redirects". But I stripped the url to the original dmg and it downloaded fine!

Normally you can upload files directly to CartLoom, but their upload service seems to be busted.
So I had to take the external download path option... but it looks like that too isn't right with CartLoom right now with it behaving that way.
So I have gotten onto support. Hopefully I will hear back from them soon.

All fixed now. There is a 100 MB file size limit on hosted files so that explains why I couldn't upload. As for using remote hosting I didn't have the field filled in quite right and that is what caused the too many redirects.

So thank you for letting me know about that so I could resolve the cause.

I love the blood in it!!!! It even builds up on the canvas. This game is a lot of fun and is well worth the money. Great job on the game.

I'm really happy that you are enjoying the game. A lot of the anime I saw growing up as a kid had a lot of gore so what anime game would be complete without blood?
