Killing Floor is a Co-op Survival Horror FPS set in the devastated cities and countryside of England after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military dropped into these locations with a simple mission: Survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments!

HELLAFUN game!

This game used to be great...but now, because of constant updates and add ons it runs so poorly that I find it very frustrating.  Tried it with details up and details off...running on an iMac 3.06 ghz (Radeon 4670) and a Mac pro 2.8Ghz (Radeon 5870) Lion or Snow Leopard)  Open console type statfps and you will see that fps rates vary wildly between 75 to 20 depending on map and zombies.  If this ever gets fixed however, the game will return to its full gory...get it, gory...heh.

Can't say I've ever experienced the performance issues you mention and still find this an entertaining and fun game nearly 2 years after first buying it.

Maybe you should submit a ticket or request in the Tripwire forum for the game?
