Could you add support for an external screen to your game ? Feral games have a very nice option for this right at the start, so the gaming screen is easily selectable.

This is something I am looking into. I am having a few problems staying in touch with Paolo for some reason. It has been over a month and I am not sure where we stand on the new engine development. I hope everything is still ok.

Thanks for the interest in the game! You know, all of the orginal work I did on the game was done on my G5 Quad! It ran on the system, but not very well even though I had a flashed 7800GTX 512 and 16GB RAM. A lot of it comes down to the video cards. A lot of the cards available for the G5's, even the PCIe cards for the later dual-core G5's, are older. Running one of the ATI X1900 or an nVidia 7800 still does not give a really good framerate. With the newer cards on the intel Macs, even on the slower models, the game runs fairly well. Also, another problem is going to be when the new version of the engine is being used for v2.0. This engine will require shaders that are not present on the older cards and that will create a problem too.

I have thought about creating a low-res version of the game to release for PPC in which the shader are not required. But that would be if time were permitting.
