This cool-looking party game apparently has a bunch of different mini-games that up to 8 people can play at once!  BombSquad has support for USB gamepads, as well as all the console controllers (Wii, PS3, and... yeah... F-Box too).  There's even a way to use iPhones, iPod Touch, and iPads as controllers for the game by downloading a free BombSquad Remote app.  The graphics in the game appear to use claymation, and the action looks fun as hell.  You can check out a gameplay video below and/or this website:  http://www.froemling.../apps/bombsquad

The last party game for the Mac I can think of was Airburst Extreme, which is one of the greatest party games I've ever played (party games are almost always tons of fun).  Currently BombSquad is only available on the Mac App Store, but I'm sure it will reach the Mac Game Store soon - because the game is just that awesome looking.

And are you ready for the best part??  BombSquad is Mac only!!!!

Take that, Micro-crap!

I think they should give you the title of the official Mac App Store spokesperson here. Seriously, you do post about most everything where MAS games are concerned. I find it somewhat amusing. Cheers. ;)

As for the actual game, I guess it looks okay. I'm not all that into party games, though Airburst Extreme was quite fun indeed. Ah, the days when Freeverse wasn't an iOS smurfette and completely sold out, literally. As for the iPhone/iPad as a controller I always found such a feature extemely silly. That's just me though.

Gotta love the horror in their voice with that double scream when falling.

BombSquad just dropped to $1.99 (from $4.99) on the Mac App Store, and it looks about ready to crack the top 200 Paid Apps List on there!!!

There's no reason not to get this game right now!

I have zero time to play till Christmas but bought anyway, graphics and physics looks nice and I'm sure gameplay is a blast and well worth 99c.

BombSquad is now one of the top 20 paid apps on the Mac App Store!!

This game was selected as a runner-up (along with Jelly Defense) for the October game-of-the-month on www.oneclickmac.com

The website does reviews of some of the better games on the Mac App Store - well worth checking out from time to time.
