It's been so long since I've dug into gaming for the mac that I've lost touch of what's out there, and while I do some of my own digging, I thought I'd pop in here and see what y'all had to say.
I played WoW back in high school and burned myself out on that a long time ago. Liked the PvP battlegrounds and instanced dungeons, didn't like the grinding. I found League of Legends about a year ago, and really liked it. I don't really care for Summoner's Rift sometimes, but that new Dominion Mode (When I can get on it) is awesome. Without a stable Mac client I've just got to hope the community can keep up until Riot puts us back on support...
In the meantime I wanted to see what else was going on out there. It's been a long time since I dug myself into a game and with free-time becoming more abundant I thought I'd give something a shot, but I don't know where to start. There are 3 game types I've enjoyed in the past. Instanced Dungeon MMOs (grouping is why I play). I started on WoW, but someone pointed me over to DDO, unfortunately I no longer have access to windows. League of Legends, as stated before, was enjoyable sometimes, not so much on Summoner's Rift, but I did enjoy the RPG PvP elements, and Dominion rocks. The last being kind of strange to my friends. I'm a big fan of things like Correspondence Chess and such. It's a slow paced thinking game that doesn't get my heart rate up. A big draw for me in games like this is stat tracking. I've kept track of my games ever since I started playing in 2005. It may sound a bit childish, but with CrossOver I've started testing out Wizard 101. TCG based MMO with PvP ranking system, count me it. No more mashing buttons faster than my opposition! This, however, is still in what I call a "testing" phase. I'm not too happy with CrossOver right now... and was hoping for something native, well, at least ported...
There just doesn't seem to be much out there that isn't the standard hack and slash MMO PvP what not. It's either that or FPS nonsense (which I was never good at). If I could find a decent place to play card games or something I'd be set, but I fear nothings out there. Anybody know of any niche games that go against the norm, or am I digging in a sea of WoW clones?
Looking for a new outlet

It also shouldn't be that long till Valve will release DotA 2. You can bet they're not going to pull any LoL shenanigans.
