I'm not really a sports game fan but I have been interested in getting into it.
Any thoughts? Is this a good buy?
Do you think this is the start for even more EA Sport games coming to the Mac?

Any word on where it is available? Steam? Mac App Store? Mac Game Store?

Let us know if / when it does reach the other stores if you can!
How does FIFA 12 stack up against the competition on the mac platform? Is there any competition?

I had terrible experience with other Cider ports... some times I think that Cyder-Mac/Linux ports should be available for free for those who bought the PC version of the game.
TIA

Yes, resolution can be changed in FIFA12 but that has to be done via the launcher.
Open the FIFA12 app and then click on the 'Game Settings' button in the launcher. You will be presented with an options dialog box for graphics/audio. Under the 'Display Configuration' tab, you can select the resolution to play in.
Enjoy !

Awesome. I may have to put on my Arsenal shirt and purchase and play the thing.

pssh the gunnars. Cheer for Newcastle United my friend! There is nothing more rewarding (and heartbreaking) then cheering for mediocre teams.
