Hmmm.  How would this game run on my early 2008 Macbook Pro, with 2.5 Ghz C2D and NVIDIA 8600M GT, 512 Mb VRAM?

Playable on min settings and I mean MIN settings 640x480 with no trimmings.

I think the next Legends title after Underworld will the the final new game we support the 8600M. It fought long and hard but it's getting old now.

I jumped off the fence and purchased a copy. Finished downloading a lot sooner than I expected... another half hour to copy to the hard drive! 3Gbps SATA, go figure.

I hope you were careful when you jumped off that fence, you could sprain an ankle or worse otherwise.

I take your joke (can I call it that?) and raise you one coffee powered page full of Feral in jokes...

I give you....

Feral Coffee Watch!

Not exactly full of jokes but it's up there on the bizarre scale. :)

Yay, I got my copy today! (The German mail was apparently in turtle mode due to the holidays this weekend...) I'm installing right now. The packing is really awesome. Now, that's one of the reasons why I still prefer physical copies. :D

It's an epic game. Took me 25 hours for a near-comletionist playthrough using maximum weaponry (stealth would be way harder). Enjoy :)

Stealth harder ? I thought all those little tunnels were for wimps afraid of a little bloodshed ;)

Also love the little musical tributes to the original game you catch sometimes - it's all the little touches that make this such a great game :)

I only had time to finish the first mission yesterday, but so far it's great. Definitely a worthy successor to the first Deus Ex. But the game really taxes the hardware. It's the first game (except for Civ V) where I cannot significantly crank up the details and effects on my AMD Mac mini (while keeping at least a resolution of 1280x720) and have the game running smoothly.

The graphics are superb. Takes quite awhile to load but very smooth, all things maxed, 1680x1050. I'm using that Raw Mouse input option with my Razer DeathAdder (sans Razer Drivers)... I think it actually works! lol The storyline is really damn interesting so far.

We optimised the Mac version for in level speed at the cost of slightly longer loading screens. This is because we pre-process more of the level compared to the PC version to reduce stutters/performance drop off. In an ideal world we would have fast loading and fast levels but slow loading is better than slow levels :)

Raw input works great you have no drivers, I find it a lot more responsive especially under heavy load.
